Black Friday: £20 PrettyLittleThing dress reduced to 20p

PrettyLittleThing's 99% discount for Black Friday includes a pink cut-out mini dress discounted from its original retail price of £20 to only 20p.

A black sheer bandeau mini dress originally retailing for £22 was discounted to 22p, while a sheer brown camisole top originally worth £12 is now listed on the website as retailing for 12p.

Both products sold out within minutes as the etailer announced a 99% discount for selected products just after midday, valid for only one hour. The offer lists a total of 10 clothing items for under £1.

PrettyLittleThing previously launched a 99% off Black Friday Sale in November 2020.

Boohoo, also owned by Boohoo Group, is offering Black Friday discounts of up to 93% off the original retail price. This includes a tropical print bandeau top and a diamante gold-trim bikini brief originally retailing for £15 and £10, respectively. As of 1pm on Black Friday, both products had sold out after being discounted to £1.

Boohoo Group's heavy discounting comes amid financial struggles for the business, which reported a loss before tax of £147.3m in its latest financial results for the six months to 31 August 2024.

On Monday (25 November), Boohoo Group received lender consent for the company's share issue to raise up to £39.3m.
