He tells Reality Tidbit what it was like working with The Kardashians star and what the protocol involved when she arrived in London as his client.
Kendall Jenner faced many ‘safety threats’ as a celebrity
As Kendall’s former security guard gets chatting with Reality Tidbit this fall, he explains how things may have changed for her now she’s in her late twenties.
When Simon worked with Kendall, he details “crowd build-up” as being one of the biggest threats to her safety.
“Nothing violent,” he adds, but he explains there were many fans wanting to take pictures or meet Kendall when they saw her in public.

Speaking of potential “risks” to the Hulu star’s safety, Simon says they may be “more elevated today” given how famous she is.
She faced the “same threats as any celebrity,” Simon says, but “nothing direct.”
Enthusiastic fans and paparazzi were among some of the biggest challenges when working with Kenny, he explains.
Bodyguard explains security protocol for the model
Security guard and former soldier Simon explains how he worked with Kendall during two London Fashion Weeks.
Speaking of how things work when protecting a megastar like Kendall, he tells us he collects her from the airport “the second she steps through,” adding: “We grab them from there straight away.”
Security guards generally “try to use private terminals just for ease,” explains Simon.
He adds how the celebrities often have a “handler” who works for the airline to “escort them from the plane to their seat after going through security.”
After serving four years as a soldier in the British Army, Simon never planned on working in security for celebrities.
But, his career has seen him protect the safety of huge names including Kendall, Bella Hadid, and Michael Jackson.
These days, he’s working in a different field and runs Simon Newton London, a fashion brand.
He’s also just wrapped filming a movie called Rise Of the Footsoldier Ibiza.
