Boosie Gives Porsche to Daughter, Says He's 'Keeping It Gangsta'

Boosie flipped out on critics who attacked his decision to gift a Porsche to his 16-year-old daughter, Lyric Hatch.

To start the New Year, the Louisiana rapper posted an Instagram carousel dedicated to Lyric, the last video showing her being surprised with a black Porsche for her 16th birthday.

In the following clip, the teenager held a stack of dollar bills while Boosie said, "And she got a bankroll."

"2025," he continued. "You know what year it is! 2025."

But the luxury gift was seen as over-the-top to some of Boosie's followers, and in a response posted to X, he shared how deserving Lyric was of her new ride.

"BE HAPPY FOR A CHILD SMH SHE’S A 16 YEAR OLD STRAIGHT A STUDENT WITH A 2025 PORSCHE THAT’S PAID FOR. I ONLY TOOK ONE CAR BACK OUT OF 5 BOO BOO," he wrote, referencing him revoking a $80,000 Mercedes-Benz from his other daughter, Toriana "Tori" Hatch.

He continued, "SOME KIDS PHONES GET TAKEN WHEN THEY MESS UP AND SOME KIDS CARS GET TAKEN WHEN THEY MESS UP, ITS CALLED #parenting SO YALL WORRY BOUT THEM ANDRIODS N IPHONES N IM GO WORRY ABOUT THESE PORSCHES, BENZES N AUDI TRUCKS LOL."

"AND ONE MO THANG WHAT DID YOUR BABYDADDY GET YOUR CHILD FOR HER 16TH? WHAT DID YOUR DADDY GET YOU FOR YOUR 16TH? WHERE IM FROM DOING FOR YOUR KIDS IS. Keeping it Gangsta."

In 2022, Boosie bought Tori a pink Mercedes-Benz but took it back the following year after Tori claimed that she went to Atlanta to take care of her mother, who was recovering from a car accident.

The "Set It Off" rapper later claimed that Tori was unappreciative and that her mother filed for child support, which prompted him to take back the car. The Mercedes would ultimately be used as a prop in Boosie's "Ungrateful" music video.
