Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon are all loved up and excited to be spending their first holidays together – as talk reaches fever pitch within their inner circle that an engagement is just a matter of time.
“Brad Pitt is head over heels for Ines and very serious about having her in his life for the long haul,” a source exclusively confirms for In Touch. “After going through such hell with his divorce from Angelina [Jolie], you might think he’d be off marriage forever, but that’s not the case at all.”
The Fight Club star, 60, has been embroiled in a decade-long divorce battle with ex Angie, 49, that has seen accusations of abuse, alcoholism and money-grabbing. While Brad denies any wrongdoing, the relentless pace of their divorce proceedings and legal drama would be intense enough to ruin the idea of marriage for just about anyone.
Luckily for the Troy actor, he seems to have found someone with whom he can connect and have in his corner throughout – Ines, 34. They debuted their relationship early in 2024, and the two are reportedly living together now after a year of dating, though the two have been linked romantically since at least November 2022.
The two were even spotted heading to the actor’s Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood costar Leonardo DiCaprio’s 50th birthday party in November 2024, another in a long list of very public outings they’ve enjoyed together as a couple.
While Brad has had it rough with his kids he shares with Angelina so far, with daughter Shiloh even dropping “Pitt” from her last name via legal filing amid the tumultuous divorce and two others refusing to use his last name in conjunction with their mother’s, a second source told In Touch the Oscar-winning actor and his new girlfriend are planning on having children of their own.
“Brad wants another chance at fatherhood,” that source said. “He’s a different person than the first time around.”
Confirming the previous report, the first source adds that, in addition to another shot at being a dad following his reported alienation from some of his children, he’s also refusing to give up on the idea of marriage, at least when it comes to Ines.
“He still very much believes in it and has even been dropping hints that he’s ready to take that next step with Ines,” the insider continues. “She seems to have ticked every box for him. He’s talking about bringing her back to Missouri for a few days over the holidays so she can bond with his family, they’ve all met her and think she’s lovely.”
“Brad’s family has seen him go through a lot over the years, so they’re thrilled to see him happy, settled, and with someone who clearly values him.”
With all of his ducks in a row, the source notes that it’s not a question “if” but “when” for the new couple.
“Brad’s always saying he’s hit the jackpot with Ines, so everyone’s betting it’s only a matter of time before he makes it official.”
