Brandi Glanville has just shared a really misleading post online. She claims a Real Housewives star has “passed away” and in her post, has linked a Celebuzz article talking about a years-old death.

It’s the oldest trick in the book. Several celebrities, like former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville, share false announcements about a death or pregnancy, but it’s based on old news.

She’s turned the ability comment on the X post, which was shared just after 8pm on December 10, unless she specifically mentions someone. In just a few hours, several people have liked the post.

The clickbait article was shared days after she revealed she’d spent all of her money on doctors, as she’s been dealing with a facial disfigurement. But celebrities often get slammed when they share fake news.

T’Challa Samuels lost her parrot in 2021

The Celebuzz article Brandi shared was about Monique Samuels’ late parrot, T’Challa, who died in 2021. Her African-gray parrot pet was involved in a freak accident in July that year, leaving her heartbroken.

At the time, the news was covered by several publications like Celebuzz. Monique said how the pain she felt was “intense” after losing her parrot, who even had its own Instagram that still exists!

She wrote in July 2021: “T’Challa involved himself in everything we did. He was so curious and so adorable! My kids miss him so much. My heart is so broken but I’m so happy to have so many memories.”

The parrot often featured on The Real Housewives of Potomac and was considered its rising star. At one point, he flew away and went missing, but luckily he returned home the next day.

When the ladies had a weekend away at the Samuels lake house, the best and most meme’d moment of the episode was when T’Challa nearly attacked fellow newcomer Wendy Osefo.
