Sharna Burgess shared a sweet message for fiancé Brian Austin Green’s ex-wife, Megan Fox, after the actress announced she was pregnant.
“Welcome little one, we are all so excited to meet you,” Sharna, 39, wrote on her Instagram Story, along with a repost of Megan’s pregnancy announcement. “Congratulations Mama x.” She also included a red heart emoji.
Megan, 38, announced on Monday, November 11, that she was expecting a baby with fiancé Machine Gun Kelly. It will be the couple’s first child together, while Megan and Brian, 51, share three children – sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8. Brian also shares 21-year-old son Kassius with ex Vanessa Marcil and Zane, 2, with Sharna, while MGK, 34, has a daughter, Casie, from a previous relationship.
To share her pregnancy news, Megan posted a photo of herself cradling her baby bump in a maternity shoot. “Nothing is ever really lost,” she wrote, along with a red heart and angel emojis.” Welcome back.”
The Transformers star previously opened up about suffering a pregnancy loss while pregnant with MGK’s child. While she didn’t share when the miscarriage occurred, she explained, “I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”
Megan and MGK started dating in 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. At the time, she had not filed for divorce from Brian yet. He was linked to Sharna just months later. Megan finally filed for divorce in November 2020 and it was finalized the following October.
In January 2022, the “Tickets to My Downfall” rapper proposed to Megan. Although they briefly broke up earlier this year, they quickly reconciled and are now starting a family of their own together. Meanwhile, Brian and Sharna got engaged in September 2023, 14 months after welcoming Zane.
“The [coparenting] relationship is great,” Sharna confirmed in 2023. “We’re actually all going to Universal together, all together, which is amazing for the kids. The reason it’s great is because the focus is on the kids. There’s nothing else that needs to be considered other than making this a beautiful, healthy and whole environment for them.”
She added, “For [the kids], representation matters. So for them, ‘OK, mommy and daddy aren’t together anymore, but they still get along really well.’ We can still do things with each other. Communication, mutual respect, learning to show love for the people around you, that’s all the stuff that they’re watching and that’s so important. We do a great job of coparenting and we have fun with it as much as we can. I think there’s this weird, archaic idea that exes can’t be friends and coparenting has to be hard. And people try to protect kids from divorce as much as they possibly can so that they’re not affected, but the truth is, they’re going to be affected.”
