The actress and bakery co-owner is supporting American Express's Shop Small campaign.
As the star of Bridgerton (and Queen Charlotte's very own titular royal), Golda Rosheuvel knows a thing or two about working with exciting new talent. But away from her acting career, Golda is equally supportive of up-and-coming creatives. Golda, 54, co-owns award-winning bakery, Imma, in Henley-upon-Thames with her cousin Tona, and knows all about the power of small businesses. When it comes to Tona, Golda tells Grazia, 'community' is the secret to its success. 'With an eclectic background, coming from different trails, we have gathered the energy of bakers, chefs, and with the love for the bakers trade,' she says. 'It started in 2018 with a restaurant in Mexico, and as things moved and changed, we found our way through the dough. Baking has been such a great experience that has allowed us to become part of a lovely community.' As a small business owner herself, Golda has teamed up with American Express on their Shop Small campaign. This year, the long-running campaign, which encourages the nation to back their local high street, is running the Champion Small initiative where card members can nominate their favourite small businesses to win one of 10 £10,000 business grants.
