The video, shared this morning, showed Jayden unwrapping a Christmas gift from Spears, and the two appeared to be in high spirits as they enjoyed a cozy festive evening together. Spears captioned the post: "Mamas deserve waaay more respect than they get these days!!!"

She followed it up with another post showing a young girl talking. She wrote in the caption: "I’ve decided I’m going to adopt a baby girl !!!! I’m actually serious !!!"

While there is no public indication that Spears has pursued adoption, her ongoing commitment to her sons and her openness about her desire to grow her family suggest that she remains interested in expanding her household in the future.

In 2022, sources reported that Britney and her fiancé at the time, Sam Asghari, were trying to have a baby and were open to adoption as part of their dream to grow their family. The Grammy Award winner – who shared two teenage sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, 44 – had made no secret of her desire to have another child while she was with Sam.

It was claimed that the couple had already started trying for a baby, with rumours suggesting plans were in motion to add a nursery and playroom to their home. A source previously spoke to Closer about the couple's plans for a family, claiming that Britney and Sam have "made no secret of the fact that they're trying to conceive."

The source mentioned that the couple has "spoken about potentially adopting if they do encounter any complications," though their primary focus remains on having a baby together.

The source further commented: "They're just very keen to welcome a baby into their family together and if that means adopting, then that's fine too." It was claimed that Britney had been in talks with an interior designer to create her "dream nursery," estimated to be worth £250,000, with the singer said to be going "all out" for it.

Her partner Asghari was also said to have been working with contractors on a state-of-the-art kids' gym and playroom, which reportedly included a basketball court and a rock climbing wall.

The outlet noted that the activity space – rumored to also feature a music stage and a treehouse – was valued at £750,000.

Spears and Asghari's relationship began in 2016 when they met on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video. They became engaged in September 2021 and married in June 2022. However, they separated in August 2023, and their divorce was finalized in May 2024.
