Week 13 of the 2024 NFL season concludes with a Monday Night showdown between the Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns.
The 7-5 Broncos have been one of the biggest surprises of the 2024 season, as rookie quarterback Bo Nix has arguably been the best and most consistent first-year signal-caller this season. The Broncos have won two in a row and will look to maintain their standing in the AFC Wild Card picture with a win.
The 3-8 Browns, on the other hand, have been a huge disappointment, but are coming off a massive 24-19 upset win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. That game was last Thursday night, meaning the Browns essentially had another bye week in between Weeks 12 and 13 to prepare for this Monday night matchup.

Will the Broncos extend their lead for the No. 7 seed in the AFC, or will the Browns play spoiler again in this otherwise lost season? The staff at Newsweek Sports has their predictions.
Ricardo Sandoval: The Broncos will host the lowly Browns, and while the Browns have virtually nothing to play for, they have shown that they can play spoiler as we approach the end of the season. However, I don't see that happening on Monday as rookie quarterback Bo Nix will be on his 'A' game and lead the Broncos to their eighth win of the season.
Prediction: Broncos 23, Browns 14
Valentina Martinez: Both the Broncos and Browns are coming off wins, but Bo Nix and company should get the job done on Monday night. Nix has been one of the top rookie quarterbacks this season, completing 259-of-399 passes for 2,548 yards with 16 touchdowns and six interceptions. He'll add to those numbers in another dominant offensive performance against the Browns.
Prediction: Broncos 27, Browns 21
Matt Levine: The Browns are coming off a big win over the Steelers last week and will look to make it two in a row. The Broncos are fighting for their playoff lives and a win could massively improve their chances. Most people will easily side with Denver, but Cleveland has the tools to pull off the upset. Quarterback Jameis Winston will play spoiler and end up stealing a win from Denver on the road.
Prediction: Browns 23, Broncos 20
Noah Camras: The Browns have already played spoiler twice this season when they beat the Steelers and Ravens in massive divisional upsets. However, on Monday night, the Browns defense will be no match for a Broncos offense that is continuing to fire on all cylinders with Bo Nix in charge. On the flip side, the strong Broncos defense will force multiple turnovers against the interception-prone Jameis Winston, as the Broncos get the big win to continue their surprise season.
Prediction: Broncos 28, Browns 17
