The health of renowned actor Bruce Willis has once again been questioned on social media, as a new rumor about a relapse in his health has been circulating in recent hours.

Reports indicate that his frontotemporal dementia had worsened his condition in recent months, to the point that he had completely lost the ability to speak. However, these versions are not confirmed and it is not known where they came from

In response, the actor's family, specifically his daughters, came out to quell any rumors about it. Specifically, Rumer Willis spoke to the British program 'Loose Women', where she assured that her father is stable and has not suffered any major health complications: "He's in good shape," she said.

However, he acknowledged that the family has had moments of anguish because of the fires that affected several areas of Los Angeles, causing the death of dozens of people, because of the complexity involved in mobilizing his father:

"What has worried us the most lately is the issue of fires and ensuring that everything is under control," he added.

Rumer also stressed that her father's health condition has been a very hard blow for the family, but it has also been a factor to bring them closer together, even though he and her mother, actress Demi Moore divorced more than 20 years ago:

"It's so beautiful the way we come together, it's so lovely because we really are a unit," he said

Bruce Willis' cognitive decline

In March 2022, Bruce Willis announced his retirement and weeks later, his family explained that he had been diagnosed with aphasia, a disorder that affects the ability to speak, understand, read and write.

Since then, Willis has stayed out of the spotlight and only appears in brief videos shared by his family

A year later, in February 2023, his wife Emma Heming Willis reported that the diagnosis had changed to frontotemporal dementia, a series of brain disorders that mainly affect the areas associated with personality, behavior and language.

People close to the family noted that, despite the fact that his condition has been progressing, Willis remains in good spirits and his family plays a very important role in his mood.
