"I've worked hard to do good in the Milwaukee community and I hope you all can help do the same by sending any tips regarding this crime to: info@bobbyportis.com. Any information that directly leads to catching the criminals involved or return of my property will be rewarded," he said.

I consider Milwaukee my home. Last night, while I was at work, my home was burglarized, and many of my prized possessions were stolen. If you have any tips or info, please send them to info@bobbyportis.com. Rewards for info leading to recovery or arrests! pic.twitter.com/ORNYHxNC1c

Portis has played for the Bucks for five seasons since signing with the team Nov. 26, 2020.

On Saturday, Portis recorded 10 points in 20 minutes, along with eight rebounds, and shot 5-for-10 from the field. It was not his strongest performance of the season, and because of that, Milwaukee is on a five-game skid.

He played a vital role in helping the Bucks secure the NBA title in 2021. Portis has been huge for the Bucks and has averaged 13.5 points per game, 8.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.7 steals while shooting 49 percent from the field and 40 percent from three in 296 games and 92 starts.

Through six games this season, Portis has averaged 11.0 points per game, 7.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and has shot 47.6 percent from the field and is averaging 24.2 minutes per game.

In his five years in Milwaukee, he has become a fan favorite and even finished third in voting for the league's Sixth Man of the Year award.

The Arkansas native is in his 10th year in the league. He has played for the Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards, and New York Knicks and is now with the Bucks.

Prior to his NBA career, he was a standout at the University of Arkansas. As a Razorback, he was named to the Consensus second-team All-American, SEC Player of the Year, First-team All-SEC in 2015, Second-team All-SEC in 2014, SEC All-Freshman Team, and Arkansas Mr. Baksetball as a senior in high school.

Portis has been and will continue to be a staple in the Milwaukee community. He is a beloved figure and that will not change because of this incident.
