Houston‘s finest took over The Warwick on Thursday night (Dec. 19) to celebrate the holiday season and toast to the launch of Beyoncé‘s SirDavis Whisky. The event featured SirDavis being served neat, as well as in festive cocktails, including the brand’s signature Honey Bee. Music was provided by DJ. Mr. Rogers and a surprise performance by Monaleo kept the attendees on their toes.

Notable guests included rapper Travis Scott, rapper Bun B, singer LeToya Luckett, rapper Slim Thug, TV personality Serena Page, former Texan Andre Johnson, Congressman Sylvester Turner, Rockets players Jalen Green and Jae Sean Tatel, and more.

The affair precedes a handful of watch parties planned to support the Houston Texans’ Christmas game against the Baltimore Ravens, where Beyoncé is set to perform an unprecedented halftime show from her hometown.  Events are planned at Tipsy Lounge, Urban Social, and Rockhouse and include SirDavis drink specials, photo booths, and a halftime broadcast. Additionally, postgame festivities will keep the Holiday spirit alive at 5015 Bar and The Address.

SirDavis was launched by the COWBOY CARTER performer earlier this year in partnership with Moët Hennessy. The American whisky is named after her great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who was a farmer and moonshiner during the Prohibition era in the South.

It is described on the official website as the “complexity of rye is married with the elegance of malted barley. Finished to perfection in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, a harmony of spice with sublime hints of fruit.”
