Carl Mullan and his wife Aisling have a lovely love story, after they met all the way back in primary school.
The couple - who recently shared that they are overjoyed to be expecting their third baby together - grew up around the corner from one another.
Because of their extended history, it's not surprising that the pair went to the Debs together as teens, but Carl says that at the time, they pair had not yet embarked on their wonderful romance.

Posting a series of old photographs from their Debs in 2008, Carl shared that the "mortifying" snaps were "too good not to share."
"Just found a load of photos from my debs in 2008 (yes I brought @aisling_mullan to my debs even though she was hell bent on having no interest in me at the time ) and they’re utterly mortifying but too good not to share," he wrote.
"And yes…yes I am waiting a tailcoat and a cravat."
Carl has previously expressed that he had his eye on Aisling since the very start. "I was mad about her from when I was a kid. You know when you're kids and 'everyone's like, 'Oh yeah, Carl fancies you.' And trying to get us to meet and all that," he told EVOKE.
"We were always really good friends anyway and it was one of those things where I had always wanted more than just friendship and it had never really gone there..."
"It was a classic thing of the friendzone but she was genuinely scared of if we did go for it, what would happen if it didn't work out? We'd be ruining all of that."
Aisling then moved to London and they did not see each other for a while, until a group meeting on a night out led to a group friend's holiday where they really had a chance to reconnect.
Upon returning from the holiday, they kept in touch and romance blossomed from there, with Aisling arranging a date for them in London on their return, and the relationship developing long distance until they moved in together to their Dublin home in 2020.
"That was the thing with us, we'd gone past that childish period. I'm so glad the two of us didn't get together when we were younger now looking back on it now because we would've killed each other," he reflected.
They got engaged in October 2020, and their first child arriving in 2021 and their wedding taking place in April 2022.
Carl and Aisling announced they were expecting their second child in the summer of 2023, and recently shared they are expecting their third. The newest addition to their family will be arriving in early 2025.
Carl recently opened up about how his life changed since becoming a father.
“I don't think I was fully mentally prepared before becoming a dad for what it would mean,” he said on Brendan O'Connor's RTÉ Radio 1 show.
“I often talk to people about the mourning of the loss of your old life. That's probably the biggest thing I've had to try and figure out.
“You realise, oh, it's gone. It is not coming back, I keep thinking it's coming back - it's not.”
