CBS‘ Poppa’s House is about to become even more of a Wayans family affair.

Marlon Wayans has signed on for a guest role on the first-year comedy, joining his brother Damon Wayans and nephew Damon Wayans Jr. His episode is scheduled to air in February.

In the installment, Marlon will play Melvin, Poppa’s (Wayans Sr.) ne’er-do-well brother who comes to visit the family and pitch a new business idea. Poppa warns everyone not to trust Melvin, but Ivy (Essence Atkins) and Junior (Wayans Jr.) want to believe he’s changed.

The episode will also be a reunion for Marlon Wayans and Atkins, who starred together on NBC’s Marlon for two seasons in 2017-18.

Poppa’s House has slotted into CBS’ Monday lineup, where it’s paired with The Neighborhood, fairly seamlessly in the early part of the season. The network ordered additional episodes of the show in November, bringing the total to 18 for its inaugural season. Tetona Jackson stars with Damon Wayans Sr. and Jr. and Atkins; Dean Lorey executive produces alongside Wayans and Wayans Jr.

Marlon Wayans is currently writing a Scary Movie reboot with brothers Keenen and Shawn and Rick Alvarez. He stars in the pyschological thriller Him from Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and director Justin Tipping, due for release next year, and had a recurring role on season three of Peacock’s Bel-Air. He’s repped by 3 Arts Entertainment, UTA and Yorn Levine.
