Gary Barlow's towering son has become an internet sensation, leaving fans in awe of his impressive height.

Daniel Barlow, 24, was snapped standing beside his Take That star dad, aged 53, in a photo that has since gone viral. Despite Gary's preference for privacy when it comes to family matters, the rare image showed Daniel's considerable height as he casually drapes his arm over his dad's shoulder, with wife and mum Dawn Andrews by their side.

Social media users were quick to comment on the striking height difference, with one fan exclaiming on social media: "Gary Barlow's massive son is the reason Twitter was made."

Another remarked: "Many parents at some point see one or more of their offspring grow up to be taller than them but few can have experienced this so viscerally as."

Standing at 6ft 2, Daniel may not be quite as lofty as some believe, especially when compared to Gary's 5ft 7 stature. Yet, he's not alone in outgrowing a celebrity parent, reports the Mirror.

Pierce and Dylan Brosnan

Pierce Brosnan and his son Dylan also showcase a notable height disparity. The former James Bond actor stands tall at 6ft 1, but Dylan, at 27 years old, gazes down from an even loftier 6ft 5, as per IMDb.

Like his father, Dylan is making waves in the entertainment industry, with roles in TV series The Synanon Fix and involvement in films such as the 2023 release Sly and the 2017 documentary Poisoning Paradise.
