Celebs celebrate New Year from Amanda Holden's Scottish party to Holly Willoughby's stunning dress

New Year's Eve saw plenty of celebrities letting their hair down as well as sharing their good times on social media as they ushered in 2025 in style

After a strenuous year, celebrities took the opportunity to let their hair down as they ushered in 2025 in a whole manner of different ways, from a house party in Scotland to braving the freezing climes of Lapland.

There was plenty of love being shared on social media from former Little Mix star Perrie Edwards packing in the PDA with her footballer fiance, to Amanda Holden enjoying Hogmanay with a Formula One legend and Holly Willoughby raising a glass of bubbly to see in the New Year.

Britain's Got Talent judge, Amanda Holden, headed to Bonnie Scotland for her New Year's Eve party, where she was joined by her husband Chris Hughes, as well as lookalike daughters Lexi, 18, and Hollie, 13. The family posed in front of a sparkling Christmas tree with Chris wearing a kilt amongst his regalia while Amanda looking incredible in a white satin gown with a huge bow on the front.

They were not celebrating alone, as Amanda also shared snaps of former racing driver David Coulthard, who was there with his family to see out 2024.

Meanwhile, Perrie Edwards had ventured even further up north to see the new year in watching fireworks in Lapland. The singer wrapped up warm against the elements as she shared a snap of her kissing footballer fiance, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, as well as having their three-year-old son Axel in her arms in other pics.

There were plenty of sparkles on show with TV presenter Holly Willoughby and former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan. Holly held a glass up the to the New Year as she dazzled in a stunning blue outfit while Helen also chose a figure-hugging dress to welcome 2025, as she posed in a shimmering black and silver number.

Nick Knowles was on his feet in time for the New Year celebrations after requiring surgery following horrific injuries to his legs and ankles while appearing on Strictly Come Dancing. He was in good spirits as he captioned a snap on Instagram : "Hope your 2025 is magnificent (first night out since the op) Start as you mean to go on."

Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger was full of merriment as she planted a smacker on the lips of her fiance Thom Evans, while singer Olly Murs shared some snaps showing that he was having a whale of a time with wife Amelia Tank.

Ayda Williams shared some post-performance pics of herself and husband Robbie Williams, who had been entertaining fans in Sydney and now appeared to be naked behind a well-positioned vase.
