EastEnders icon Charlie Brooks is reportedly facing a breakup in the middle of her Dancing On Ice journey as she has split from her boyfriend.
It emerged that Charlie had found love with advertising producer James Fuller at the end of last year. The 43-year-old soap icon star is most famous for playing Janine Butcher on the BBC's EastEnders.
Charlie had shared a number of images on Instagram last December, in which she was cosied up to a handsome, dark-haired man, reported The Mirror.
The romance reportedly began while Charlie was already training for Dancing On Ice - and she wrote in a caption to her Instagram post: Shooting, skating and puppy love... That's a wrap!"
The actor was seen showing off a beaming smile while she posed with James in the photos- who has worked on adverts for brands including Coca-Cola and Durex.
One fan commented: "Love the pics, so much love and fun in those photos." However, it appears the pair have since ended the romance as Charlie's attention has been absorbed by Dancing On Ice.
A source told The Sun: “They’re still really close but she wanted to concentrate on Dancing On Ice. It’s very demanding and she’s training six days a week. It’s hard to keep a romantic relationship going with all the hard work she’s putting in but they’re still best friends.”
The Mirror has contacted a representative of the star for comment.
The Daily Mail previously reported that Charlie and James had been dating for months before they publicised their relationship. The new romance was the first public partnership for Charlie since her split from ex-boyfriend, Ben Hollington.
Charlie and Ben split in 2018 after six years of romance. She was previously in a relationship with Ibiza club owner Tony Truman, who she split from in 2007 - and with whom she shares a 20-year-old daughter named Kiki.
Over the weekend, Dancing On Ice fans were moved when Charlie dedicated her performance to her daughter - who watched on from the edge of the rink. She picked the song Someone Like You to skate to as her daughter loved the song so much.
A video clip showed Charlie sharing footage of Kiki singing the song as a child with her skate partner Eric Radford. And after watching her mum performing on the ice, Kiki burst into tears as she expressed her pride.
Charlie appeared on Loose Women last year where she discussed her reason for signing up for Dancing On Ice.
Charlie said: "I'm going to embrace the spray tan. All I want to do is enjoy it and try not to break my leg."
During her chat on the panel show, she also revealed she had past experience in the sport.
Charlie explained: "I've skated when I was a kid and with mulled wine at Christmas. Until I get on the ice, I have no idea how I'm going to be. I'm not that strong. I'm not competitive, but it might come out in me and I want to have fun and not get injured."
