Bebe Rexha struck in the face by object during New York showA huge pop sensation has reportedly called it quits with Warner Records after a 13-year partnership that saw her top the charts.
American singer Bebe Rexha, 35, who soared to fame with her 2022 number one banger 'I'm Good' alongside David Guetta, is believed to be striking out on her own following a string of alleged tiffs with the record label behemoth.
A source revealed that after Bebe's fiery online tirade last year where she threatened to air "all her truths" about the music business, she's viewing the split as a fresh start. The insider dished to The Sun that Bebe, rumoured to have snagged new management, was "frustrated about her career".
They divulged: "Bebe has become really frustrated about her career so when things reached an impasse with Warner and they said it was best to stop working together, she decided not to fight it."
The source added: "She has told friends that she wants a fresh start and didn't feel like she could do it there anyway."
Bebe's Warner exit is reportedly a done deal, with the label scrubbing her from its website and Bebe giving them the cold shoulder on Instagram, reports the Mirror.
Her first album 'Expectations' might have only hit number 33, but she's rocked the charts with her collabs - like the mega-hit 'Meant To Be' with Florida Georgia Line, which became a Spotify country sensation. But last year, Bebe got real about industry drama – she was over it and ready to share her truth in a fury-filled social media blast.
The feisty singer slammed G-Eazy, calling him a "loser" before her spicy words vanished from the internet. Instagram saw screenshots of his fans asking for a reunion after their banger 'Me, Myself and I' exploded online.
On X, Bebe dropped a bombshell, claiming she could tear down a massive chunk of music moguls with what she knows. She posted on X: "I have been UNDERMINED. I've been so quiet for the longest time. I haven't seen the signs even though people constantly are bringing them up and they have been SO OBVIOUS. And when I have spoken up I've been silence and PUNISHED by this industry. Things must change or I'm telling ALL of my truths. The good the bad and the ugly."
