Chiefs vs Buccaneers Expert Predictions for Monday Night Football Week 9

Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season concludes with a Monday night showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Chiefs enter the matchup as the lone unbeaten team in the NFL with a 7-0 record. The Buccaneers, on the other hand, are 4-4, and coming off consecutive losses to the Baltimore Ravens and Atlanta Falcons.

These are two of the highest-scoring teams in the NFL, but the Chiefs also have one of the leagues best defenses, allowing just 17.6 points per game.

Noah Camras: The Chiefs are nine-point favorites at home on Monday night, and they're going to dominate the Buccaneers. Patrick Mahomes will have his best game of the season, while the Chiefs defense slows down a red-hot Baker Mayfield. This game will be high-scoring, but it will be the Chiefs moving to 8-0.

Valentina Martinez: The Chiefs will continue their hot streak on Monday Night Football. Although Tampa Bay had a pretty good start to the season, the team has lost the last two games and will face Kansas City without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Kansas City stays undefeated with a win.

Eva Geitheim: The Buccaneers are simply undermanned without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and the Chiefs find ways to win every game. This one will be more of the same.
