Chlöe Bailey and Burna Boy have sparked speculations over the weekend after stepping out together in Lagos, Nigeria, looking undeniably cozy.

The R&B songstress arrived in Burna Boy, né Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu’s, homeland on Sunday (Dec. 15), where she was given a huge bouquet of flowers at the airport. Upon entering a luxury convoy awaiting her, a bystander could be heard dubbing Bailey an Odogwu’s “wife.”

According to X, “Odogwu” is a prestigious Igbo title given to “leader” or “strong man.” It’s also a moniker that Burna Boy has proudly embraced for himself.

Later in the day, more footage surfaced of the 26-year-old hopping in and out of Burna’s purple Lamborghini Aventador, where she was treated with another massive bouquet of all red roses.

In another clip, the two could be seen looking cozy and even dancing a bit in a private section of a Lagos hotspot. Burna, 33, had his arm around her shoulder at one point.

Social media had much to say with one fan tweeting, “Lmaooo I didn’t see this coming,” as another referenced Burna’s famous ex, Stefflon Don. “I hope Chlöe Bailey knows how to rap in Patois because Steff is writing her verse as we speak,” they quipped.

Chlöe, who has last declared herself single, recently made headlines for sharing her past infatuation with Kendrick Lamar.

“About eight years ago, I went through a whole Kendrick phase,” she said. “I’ve had phases, right? I had a Frank Ocean phase, an FKA twigs phase, a Tune-Yards phase—and a Kendrick Lamar phase. During that time, I was convinced I was going to end up with him.”

Although it seemed to be an innocent crush, the “Treat Me” singer made it clear that she was not a home wrecker. “I’m not shooting my shot at a married man,” she clarified on Instagram Live. “I was talking about years and years ago.”
