“The Voice” alum Christina Aguilera rarely posts either of her children publicly on social media. A recent Instagram post of the singer’s, however, gave fans a glimpse of the kids and everybody gushed over how grown up they looked.
“Look at Max! Taller than his mama! This makes me feel old. I still have the People issue when you revealed him to the world,” a fan wrote in response to the family photo.
Christina Aguilera & Her Family Enjoyed a Vacation Together
On November 13, Aguilera shared a handful of photos on her Instagram page. “Unseen bits,” she captioned the post. The first picture in the post was a glam one of Aguilera, and several other photos were of Aguilera out and about on her own.
However, Aguilera snuck in a precious snapshot at the end of the photo carousel. The picture showed her with her fiance, Matt Rutler, and her two children while on an outing somewhere on vacation.
As People noted, Aguilera is a mom to two children. Her son Max is 16, and his father is Aguilera’s ex-husband, Jordan Bratman. She also has a daughter, Summer, who is 10. Summer’s father is Rutler.
Fans Loved Seeing a Glimpse of Max & Summer
Aguilera’s fans had a lot to say about the family photo.
“The last one 🥺❤️ Seeing you happy with your kids makes me so happy, 😍❤️” commented a fan.
“The last photo is beautiful, how your children have grown, we miss seeing Max in the photos, they both have mommy’s fashionista style,” one Instagram user commented.
“The last slide is priceless,” gushed someone else.
“Family pic is just full of joy,” another fan wrote.
“Both kids copies of their dads, how about next girl who’d be copying of you! We need more X-tinas in this world,” suggested a different fan of Aguilera’s.
“Wow finally we got to see a glimpse of Max and Summer together. ❤️ [The] last slide is everything, ❤️❤️❤️” read a separate comment.
In August, Aguilera opened up to Glamour about motherhood. “I love my son and my daughter so much, and you do want to shield and protect them from the world,” she shared.
Aguilera got emotional as she talked about her kids. She also acknowledged, “But they have to learn their own lessons.”
She also revealed she didn’t anticipate doing a full-blown tour anytime soon. “I truly do enjoy being home base and accessible to my kids,” Aguilera explained.
