Christina Haack is confiding in her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, about her divorce from her third husband, Josh Hall.

Haack, 41 — who has switched back to her maiden name — and Hall, 44, called it quits in July and have been in a bitter public divorce battle ever since. On Thursday, December 12, People shared an exclusive preview for the new HGTV house-flipping competition series The Flip Off, where the TV personality stars alongside Tarek — to whom she was married from 2009 to 2016 — and his new wife, Heather Rae El Moussa.

Haack previously co-hosted Flip or Flop with Tarek, 43, and the couple share two kids: Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8.

In the preview clip, Tarek enters Haack's home and can tell something is off with her. "I know that look. What's going on? You good?" he asks.

The Christina on the Coast star tells Tarek about how her marriage to Haack is over, and claims even their kids wanted her to be done with him.

"Josh and I officially split up. We had a blow-up, middle fingers in my face. Things with Josh have been bad for a long time," she admitted. "The kids literally asked me to leave. They told me he's not nice to me. Why would I stick around? I feel like I'm in a tornado all the time, and I just can't get out of it."

The California native told Tarek she was struggling and that her life has been "horrible" since her 2016 divorce from him. Haack was also married to Ant Anstead from 2018 until 2021. The pair share a son, Hudson, 4.

"Everything since, like, 2016 has been so hard and so horrible; it's really taken a really bad toll on me," she confessed. "I'm really sorry for s*** too. I really am. I just want you to know."

Tarek, for his part, seemingly apologized for the role he played in causing her pain. Tarek struggled with addiction at the end of their marriage.

"I understand that feeling of being a little bit lost. And I acknowledge that I'm a big part, if not the entire part, of all of this," he told Haack.

The Christina in the Country star and Hall began their relationship in 2021. After about two months of dating, the pair got engaged in September 2021, and officially wed that same year. Their divorce has been messy, with both exes calling each other out via Instagram.

In October, Haack and her lawyer, Matthew S. DeArmey, made a legal filing claiming her soon-to-be ex-husband requested an "outrageous" amount of monthly spousal support and saying he spent over $70,000 paying off the lease on a Bentley.

In response, Hall took to his Instagram Story to say, "So now @dearmeylaw files legal declarations riddled with lies and assumptions... interesting tactic for someone who is a licensed attorney and took an oath of integrity."
