“Sister Wives” star Christine Brown Woolley has lost 40 pounds, and it’s a sign she’s moved on from Kody Brown, according to In Touch Weekly.

“She lost the weight for herself, not for anybody else, not for her new husband, who loves her any size,” the source told In Touch. “It’s just that she hated feeling weighed down and a lot of that excess baggage came from her unhappy union with Kody.”

In Touch noted that the TLC star is remarried to David Woolley. She announced her split from Kody Brown in 2021, the publication reported. She shared photos showing her weight loss to her Instagram page.

Christine Brown Woolley Shed ‘the Cobwebs From Her Previous Life,’ the Report Says

The source told In Touch that the weight loss is symbolic for Brown.

“She’s shed the pounds and the cobwebs from her previous life as a sister wife, though she’s still on good terms with Meri and Janelle,” the source told In Touch, referring to two of her former sister wives.

“She loves her slimmed down figure and going shopping and picking out jeans and cute tops. She’s still got a bit of belly, but she’s working on it. She’s not being hard on herself,” the source told In Touch, adding, “For the first time in a long time, she’s content in a relationship, and the big new family she inherited has been so welcoming. She has much to be thankful for going into 2025.”

Brown Woolley has also shared tributes to her new husband.

Brown Woolley comments about her life journey on her Instagram page.

“Choosing happiness has been the best decision I’ve ever made. Remember, you’re strong enough to create the life you deserve. Embrace your journey and find joy in every step. 💖 What is something you have chosen or fought hard for, in order to be happy??” she wrote in August.

In September, she wrote, “Sometimes, I wish it was as simple as clicking our heels three times. If only leaving behind the hardest moments in life were that easy. But here’s what I know: Even in the toughest situations, there’s always hope. You have the power to create your own joyful ending, no matter how impossible it may seem right now. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it. Keep believing, keep moving forward—because brighter days are waiting for you on the other side.”
