Reports claim Justin Bieber is so terrified of being further linked to the Sean Diddy Combs case it's causing his marriage to Hailey Bieber to breakdown, less than a year after the pair welcomed their first child together.
The 30-year-old singer, who achieved fame with 2010's Baby, and got engaged to Hailey in 2018 before they officially tied the knot a year later. Then in August 2024, their son was born and it seemed as though the pair were set for a fairytale romance story.
But that may have all changed in September 2024 when Diddy was arrested by the Department of Homeland Security and swiftly charged with sex trafficking and racketeering by the District Court in New York City.
The 55-year-old petitioned for bond three times but each claim was rejected on the grounds he is a danger to the public and could even flee the United States borders, before over 100 civil actions emerged against him accusing him of physical, sexual and emotional abuse.
Then the Canadian popstar then found himself connected when videos from the 2010s appeared with him alongside the disgraced music executive, who he was mentored by, saying Bieber knew better than to discuss their private affairs but that they were a 15-year-old's dream.
He is yet to be subpoenaed to explain his relationship with Diddy and what the pair did together and whether he was aware of the allegations surrounding his parties occurring, in which it's said he and his associates coerced, drugged and raped men, women and children.
"Justin is sweating bullets," a source told RadarOnline.com. "Fearing he's going to get served with a subpoena and have to recount every lurid thing he saw while under Diddy's wing.
"And it's left Hailey, who has long deflected divorce rumors, wondering where all of this will leave her husband - and their marriage."
When is Diddy Combs' trial?
Combs, currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, denies all allegations against his name and stresses his innocence. This includes the federal and civil charges brought against him.
His trial will begin on May 5, 2025. If he's found guilty and convicted of all charges, he could face up to 20 years behind bars in federal prison. He would be 75 or 76 upon release.
