Claire Sweeney was almost swept away by the ocean this week as she was snapped losing her footing while taking a dip on a beach in Barbados.
The actress is currently enjoying some winter sun on the Caribbean island, where she welcomed in the New Year. And enjoying a beach day, Claire was seen in a stunning multicoloured swimsuit as she showed off her gorgeous figure - pulling her blonde locks into a tousled bun. Narrowly avoiding a fall, Claire was walking out of the sea when she almost stumbled over into the water - with pictures showing her laughing off the misstep.

Keeping fans updated on the trip via her Instagram page, Claire has been enjoying lavish dinners, boat days and horse riding on the beach during the trip.
Ringing in the new year from the sunny destination, she wrote to Instagram: "Here’s to one of the best holiday’s and new year celebrations ever". The trip comes following Claire's split from Ricky Hatton following a whirlwind romance.
Their relationship started at the beginning of last year after the boxing champion, 46, and soap star met while competing on ITV's Dancing on Ice. However, it seemed that the two were unable to go the distance as they called time on their relationship in December.

@CHRISBRANDIS / BACKGRID)It was reported at the time that the duo hoped to remain good friends but their romance fizzled out due to their different lifestyles. A source told theDaily Mail:"Claire and Ricky remain good friends, there has been no fallout between them.
"They decided they're better off as pals and are no longer romantically together. They enjoyed their time as a couple and have plenty of shared interests, but their lifestyles are very different."
They continued: "While Claire is one of the biggest stars on Coronation Street and is very career-gliding, Ricky's more freewheeling and unpredictable. Ricky is already packing his bags for a getaway to Tenerife, where he feels more at home. Meanwhile, Claire's putting her heart and soul into her career, leaving romance behind."
