Coleen Rooney's family have touched down in Australia to support her I'm A Celebrity stint, but husband Wayne has stayed at home.

The WAG is toughing it up in the Australian jungle as she formed part of this year's campmates on the ITV show. She has already won over a legion of fans and is heavily tipped to be Queen of the Jungle. The first eviction will take place on Friday, meaning all the celebrities' closest family and friends have been arriving Down Under to greet them on the iconic rope bridge.

Coleen and Wayne's youngest son Cass, six, and Kit, eight, joined their grandparents for the mammoth flight across the world to support their famous mum. Colette and Tony McLoughlin headed to Australia with the boys as they cheered on their daughter Coleen. Kai, 15, and Klay, 12, have decided to stay at home with their dad Wayne as he manages Championship football team Plymouth Argyle.

Cass was seen holding a kangaroo teddy as he walked through the airport. The family landed last night on an Emirates flight, and passed through security just after midnight. Kit had his own suitcase with 'KR' in red letters on it.

The mum-of-four arrived in the I'm A Celebrity camp with a personalised necklace featuring all of her sons' names. She has been seen holding on to it as she misses her family. Before entering the camp, Coleen revealed that her eldest sons, Kai and Klay chose to stay at home while Kit and Cass travelled with her mum to meet her upon her exit.

However, Coleen isn't aware that she is set to have a surprise reunion with her boys as she is only expecting her mother to visit during the 'friends and families' episode. It's thought that ITV bosses and hosts Ant and Dec saw this as a 'too good an opportunity' to pass up.

The friends and family segment typically takes place in the third week when five or six celebrities remain. An insider shared: "Everyone knows how much Coleen loves her boys, and it would be one of the most heartwarming moments of the series. It’s a really special part of the show, and there’s no doubt Coleen would be a blubbering mess - as would the millions of viewers watching at home. It’s going to be such a surprise for her."

Coleen previously told the Mirror that she was already looking forward to being reunited with her four boys, although only Kit and Cass will travel out to Oz. She told us: "They all had the option but the two older ones decided that they would stay at home to continue with school and football. I think I said when you come you'll have to bring your work with you, and they would be missing some football tournaments, so they quickly changed their minds."

Thinking of seeing them again, she added: "It will be the most magical moment. Obviously, it will be the longest I would have been apart from them. But I feel like they're all at an age now where they understand and I've got a good group of people looking after them. I feel like always a mum, but now do for myself "I'm content everything will be OK."

Despite not being able to fly out to Australia, husband Wayne has been showing his unwavering support. The Manchester United star has even urged fans to vote for Coleen to do Bushtucker trials. He posted: “Proud of @coleen_rooney on @imacelebrity she’s doing great. Me and the boys would love to see her doing a trial and we know she’d want to put herself to the test. If you can download the #ImACeleb app and let’s get voting.”
