Colorado is due for up to four inches of snow forecast for Pueblo and areas near Lake County on Wednesday, according to a the National Weather Service (NWS).
The NWS warning said "Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes," continued the warning. "Gusty winds could bring down tree branches."
It said "If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 511."
Denver traffic anchor Jayson Luber posted a video of conditions on I-70 on his X account @Denver7Traffic "Heavy blowing snow in Vail right now." he said. "Part of Highway 24 south of I-70 and part of EB 70 over Vail Pass are closed for the moment."
