America’s Got Talent star Kabir ‘Kabeezy’ Singh has sadly passed away. He was 39 years old.
Kabir appeared on America’s Got Talent season 16 in 2021. The Portland, Oregon native rose to fame on the talent show as a comedian. At the time, he was residing in Los Angeles and was such a hit with the judges and viewers, he made it to the semi-finals.

Kabir ‘Kabeezy’ Singh sadly passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
The news was first reported by TMZ before Singh’s fiancé confirmed the news to People.
The comic’s friend, Jeremy Curry, also took to Facebook to share the “devastating” news of his passing this December.

TMZ’s report states how Kabir was dealing with health concerns, adding how authorities suspect he died of natural causes. However, investigations into his cause of death are still ongoing.
His friend, Jeremy, writes in his Facebook post:
“It’s my deepest regret to let everyone know that Kabir Singh has passed away… He passed away peacefully in his sleep and this is the most devastating post I’ve posted… Services will be Saturday, December 14 at 8:30 am at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward… Please keep his family and fiancé in your thoughts and prayers….I Love you, bro.”
Kabeezy’s career after AGT
Kabir’s America’s Got Talent performances had people saying he was a “quick-witted,” and “likable” comedian.
The talent show star garnered a huge following over the course of his career.
After making it to the AGT 2021 semi-finals, Kabir’s work seemingly only went from strength to strength as he wrote in his Instagram bio: “Seen on Comedy Central, Family Guy, BBC News, and AGT.”
Per his IG posts, Kabir was performing stand-up as recently as this winter. He shared how his dates were “sold out” in Manteca, California on November 2.
