Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt on the ITV soap, has welcomed her baby daughter and second child with footballer partner Ryan Ledson
Lucy Fallon has announced the birth of her baby daughter.
The 29-year-old actress, who plays Bethany Platt on the cobbles, welcomed her second child with partner Ryan Ledson on Saturday (January 11). She gave birth to their baby boy Sonny in February 2023.
Lucy took to Instagram on Tuesday (January 14) with an adorable first snap of her baby girl. She wrote: "our teeny angel girl is here 11/1/25."
Her post was inundated with messages of congratulations from the star's famous friends and fans. Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh wrote: "Awwww congratulations beautiful." Lilly Gerrard gushed: "Congratulations," alongside two heart emojis.
Helen Flanagan penned: "Love you Lucy xxx." and Samia Longchambon commented: "little beauty!! Congratulations to you all". Emmerdale's Laura Norton added: "Aw wow. Congratulations gorgeous."
Lucy revealed in August she was halfway through her pregnancy. A sweet snap showed her one-year-old son, Sonny, carrying her pregnancy ultrasound scans.
The announcement came just months after Lucy and Ryan revealed they wanted to grow their family. During an episode of ITV's Drama Queens, Ryan said he wanted: "Maybe one more." Lucy cut in, saying: "Two more."
Ryan tried to stand firm as he replied: "One for me, really." But Lucy argued: "Two more. I have the uterus!" Their baby discussion came after Lucy reflected on the possibility of her Corrie character, Bethany, falling pregnant.
She said to Ryan: "I read that next week I'm getting run over, and everyone thinks that I'm pregnant. Not me, but Bethany, but she's not pregnant." Asked if she thought being pregnant is something that Coronation Street bosses could bring to the show, she said: "God no! I've got one at home, I don't need one there! It's not what I need!"
In September, Lucy confirmed she was having a little girl in an adorable gender reveal. Lucy took to Instagram to share footage of herself and Ryan discovering the sex of their unborn child.
She covered her face with her hands and was seen wiping tears away from her eyes. The video later showed a baby onesie that read "little sister" on the front.
