Corrie's Jack P Shepherd announces 'last Christmas as Mr and Miss' with fiancée

Jack P. Shepherd discusses growing up on Coronation Street

Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd is planning a short engagement to fiancée Hanni Treweek as the couple announced this would be their "last Christmas" engaged.

Hanni and Jack took to Instagram for a joint post featuring a series of images of their idyllic festive season. Alongside pictures of the couple looking loved up were shotsof Hanni showing off her engagement ring, a Christmas tree and a table set for a festive feast.

Captioning it she wrote: "Our last Christmas as Mr & Miss. Hope you all had a gorgeous one." The couple only got engaged in September this year and clearly aren't hanging around when it comes to wedding planning.

Fans were delighted with the update and flocked to the comments to share their congratulations. "2025 is going to be an exciting year for you two," one wrote.

"Lovely pics… Big day soon," another commented. A third chimed in: "Omg it’s about bloody time!! Congrats kids!"

"So much to look forward to for you both," gushed a fifth fan.

Another cheekily said: "Absolutely fabulous Jack! When is the date for your wedding or is that secret? Big Corrie Fan from Canada."

Jack's real-life romance appears to be running far more smoothly than his on-screen alter ego in the ITV soap David Platt.

He has been suspicious for some time that wife Shona (played by Julia Goulding) cheated on him.

Mistakenly believing she had slept with Adam Barlow (Sam Roberts) he confronted him on Christmas Day.

In fury, he pushed him down a set of stairs, leading to Adam being taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.

However dodgy copper Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) later teased David about Shona leadng the hairdresser to realise that it was in fact him she had cheated with.
