Back in the day, Jon and Kate Gosselin’s life as they embarked on parenthood of eight kids was laid bare for the world to see. Their marriage didn’t work out and the couple’s TLC series was cut from the air seven years ago. Now, Jon shares how he’s found love again.

TLC‘s Jon and Kate Plus Eight was a reality TV show to remember. As the name suggests, the series was based around parents Jon and Kate and their eight kids. When they divorced in 2009, they had the aim of keeping things amicable for their family’s sake. But, they ended up far from that.

When TV viewers first met Jon and Kate Gosselin they were the focus of two one-hour Discovery Health Channel specials, Surviving Sextuplets and Twins and One Year Later.

The show was then moved to TLC, but the two got divorced just two years into their fame.

Kate continued to star in Kate Plus Eight alongside her children.

As well as the family’s fame continuing for another 10 years, they also had controversy follow them.

Happy news for Jon this fall

Decades on from their reality TV fame, Jon and his daughter, Hannah Gosselin, have appeared on news shows together and talked about their experience on the show.

It’s safe to say things have totally changed from the early Jon and Kate Plus Eight days.

Fifteen years on from his divorce from Kate, Jon is declaring his devotion to someone new. He is now engaged to his girlfriend of three years, Stephanie Lebo.

November 23 marks the special day Jon got down on one knee, reports Entertainment Tonight.

Jon went all out for the occasion, surprising Stephanie while dining at her favorite restaurant with both of their parents.

He popped the question at Willoughby’s on Park in Wyomissing, Philadelphia. The moment was reportedly so emotional, Stephanie’s father burst into tears.
