Dame Dash on Ye Alleged Assault Lawsuit: 'No Matter What, Kanye Is My Brother'

Dame Dash weighed in on recent sexual assault allegations made against Kanye West.

The matter was discussed during a recent interview Dame gave to America Nu Network, which was published on Monday. At around the 51 minute mark, the 53-year-old was asked about Ye, 47, who was accused last week by his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta of drugging and sexually harassing her at a recording session co-hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs.

“So no matter what Kanye is my brother. I'm going to always hope that which said is not true. If it is true, then, you know, I feel bad that the girl had to go through that,” Dame said. “But as a person that's been accused of sexual assault and went through a whole trial and got the press of the accusation, but didn't get the press of when I won the case knowing it was bullshit, you know, I would ask questions.”

If you weren’t aware, Dame, his fiancée Raquel Horn, and other companies he is affiliated with were sued for $50 million by photographer Monique Bunn in 2019. Bunn alleged that following a photo shoot in Los Angeles that year, Dash had told her she could stay at his residence and sleep in his daughter’s room. She then claimed Dash sexually assaulted her while she was asleep.

Last February, a federal jury found that the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder was not liable for sexual assault following a four-day trial, per Billboard.

“Something happened that she was uncomfortable with and then she went to work with him. So I would wanna understand why that happened, you know?” Dame said of Ye’s accusation. “Right now in this very moment, every day, there's gonna be lawsuits, and you're gonna have to filter through the bullshit ones and you're gonna have to see the ones that will really stand up in court.”

He lamented that catching lawsuits is “part of the game” and that he is “always in court” for some kind of defamation complaint.

“It's really important to know if you're gonna be on TV, or be in the public eye, it is important to know the rules of what you could say and what you can't,” Dame added. “When they say that you have freedom of speech, it's freedom of speech with guidelines. But you should know the guidelines of what should be held responsible.”

According to Page Six, Lauren Pisciotta amended her lawsuit to include more claims against Ye, including the rapper wanting his wife Bianca Censori, 29, to watch him have sexual relations with her mom, Alexandra Censori. The former assistant claimed that Ye had a specific “sexual kink” where he wanted to sleep with the mothers of women he dated.

Pisciotta, who was allegedly hired to collaborate with Ye on his Yeezy fashion line and album Donda, previously sued the rapper in June for breach of contract, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and a hostile work environment.

In her original complaint, Pisciotta alleged that Ye sent her vulgar text messages, videos, and masturbated during their phone calls. She was supposedly fired in October 2022 and alleged that she was not paid her $3 million severance offer.
