David Archuleta gets a little NSFW talking sexual positions and what he enjoys in the bedroom

David Archuleta is sharing his thoughts about intimacy and is setting the record straight about his previous comments. The 33-year-old former American Idol runner-up from season seven addressed a social media conversation about being a “full time bottom” that happened in February 2024.

“I'm sure that you are absolutely right… For other people out there,” he said. “I'm sure that they would definitely agree with that.” However, he added, “Couldn't relate.”

Fans initially interpreted David's response as indicating that he preferred being a top, but he's now explaining what he actually meant.

Keep reading to find out more… “People [were] assuming I was just [a] bottom,” David said on Logo's Spill with Johnny Sibilly. “When they first started saying that, I didn't even know what that meant. I was like, ‘What do you mean a bottom?' I didn't know that kind of terminology before.”

“So I was addressing to someone, ‘You know, I'm sure other people enjoy that. I just can't relate.' Because my experience has not been that. But I would consider myself a vers,” David said.

David then suggested he identifies as demisexual. “It's not like I'm even into d-ck, and I'm not really into ass either, to be honest. It's like, I'm into the person. Doing only one thing is boring to me,” he said.

When discussing what attracts him, David shared, “A good face. I don't understand when people are like, ‘Oh! That good dick!' And like, the dick, and I'm like, oh my gosh, like, what is attractive about a dick? It's a sensational part of your body.” He added that he doesn't find them to be “pretty.”
