David Beckham has taken to Instagram to share his reflections on an "unforgettable year" in 2024, despite being overlooked for a knighthood once more.
The football legend was notably absent from the New Year's honours list again, seven years after he infamously criticised the committee in a leaked email for not including him.
As other celebrities like Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, and Ed Sheeran shared their year-end thoughts and New Year wishes with fans, Beckham chose to focus on the positives. He posted a series of family photos, starting with a romantic snap of him and Victoria sharing a kiss, the Mirror reports.
In his heartfelt message, the 49-year-old expressed: "Happy New Year from myself, my wife and my amazing kids... Thank you for an unforgettable year and I want to wish everyone a happy and healthy 2025. Love David x."
Victoria Beckham joined in the celebrations by uploading a video of the couple dancing, captioning it with a loving tribute: "My number one dancing partner, my everything. I love you so so much @davidbeckham."
Meanwhile, Jessie J celebrated her first full year as a mother, declaring her son, Sky Safir Cornish Colman, the highlight of her year. The singer, who welcomed her son in May 2023, gushed over her experience of motherhood on Instagram, saying: "My 2024 highlight is easy. You. My boy."
She continued: "My first full year of being your Mum. Watching you blossom this year has been the most magical thing to watch. You are hands down the highlight of my year and my life. I haven't loved anything more than I love you my angel boy."
Canadian songstress Dion, who made a return to the spotlight this year after disclosing her stiff person syndrome (SPS) diagnosis in 2022, has expressed gratitude to her fans for their "unwavering support".
The celebrated vocalist, aged 56, delivered an awe-inspiring performance at the Paris Olympics’ opening ceremony from the Eiffel Tower in July and brought the curtain down on the 1001 Seasons Of Elie Saab event in November in Saudi Arabia.

I am evolved enough to know that nothing comes easy and no one is perfect. Everyone will judge you. No matter WHAT you do. And/or what you don't do."
