Davina McCall can't keep hands off partner Michael Douglas on big night out after brain surgery

The Masked Singer judge Davina McCall was spotted out in London with her partner Michael Douglas earlier this week as she continues to recovery from her recent brain surgery

Presenter Davina McCall was all smiles as she enjoyed an evening out with pals recently as she continues to recover from having surgery to remove a benign brain tumour.

The Masked Singer judge, 57, was spotted out in London on Monday night as part of a group that included her partner Michael Douglas, 49. The couple were seen walking hand-in-hand and looking affectionate whilst out together.

Hours earlier, Davina had shared on Instagram that she was in the city to celebrate one of her stepchildren's birthdays, which she said was "lovely". The presenter and her partner met loved ones at a restaurant during the evening.

Davina opted to wear a floral dress for the special occasion, and accompanied it with glittery tights and a pair of black boots. The former Big Brother host wrapped up in a dark buttoned coat and had a maroon bag over one shoulder.

Michael was instead seen in a blue coat and coordinated scarf whilst walking beside Davina in photos from the night out. The hairdresser wore a pair of blue jeans as part of his outfit for the evening and sported some brown shoes.

Davina is said to have been laughing the whole evening and the couple couldn't take their hands off each other, with them spotted kissing on occasion whilst out together. She was also seen hugging a companion outside the restaurant.

It comes after Davina shared recently that she is feeling "better" and "doing well" after having surgery just weeks ago. She announced last month that she would be undergoing surgery to remove a 14mm benign brain tumour, which was discovered during a scan a few months prior. She said she would have a craniotomy, a surgical procedure to temporarily remove part of the skull, after the colloid cyst was found.

On Monday, she said in an update: "Hi just a quick update to let everyone know that I'm doing well. And the last couple of days I've really, really, really felt miles better and I've come in to London today to celebrate one of Michael's boy's birthdays, so that's lovely. [...] I'm still recovering right now and I'm planning on getting back to work in about a month."

Just last week, Davina made her first public appearance following the operation when she attended a Christmas event for the charity the Brain Tumour Research Campaign. Whilst earlier this month, she shared that Michael and surgeon Kevin O'Neill had initially been concerned after the procedure.

Davina said: "I gave [Kevin] and Michael a bit of a scare straight after the op because I was so confused, but I am doing so well now. I just wanted to thank him and all the team for taking such really really good care of me."

Last month, she told fans that she was feeling "much better" whilst recovering at home. She said: "I'm just trying to sleep a lot and get better. My short term memory is really improving a lot every day and it has been an example to me on how much sleep helps me recover from everything."
