Dawson's Creek alum Joshua Jackson has been accused of not paying child support to his ex-wife Jodie Turner-Smith.

In a new court filing submitted on Monday, December 23, Turner-Smith, 38, claimed that Jackson, 46, has not paid support for their 4-year-old daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson, according to Us Weekly.

The Agency actress stated in the filing that the Doctor Odyssey actor "promised to always support me and ensured me that I would not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated because he said he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother."

She is seeking for her ex-husband to pay $8,543 "per month retroactive to the date of her initial filing," $28,641 in spousal support "while their divorce is still pending," and $250,000 for attorney fees.

Turner-Smith filed for divorce from Jackson in October 2023, due to "irreconcilable differences," according to E! News. Their date of separation was listed as September 13, 2023. The couple had been married for four years, after tying the knot with a private ceremony in August 2019. They then welcomed their daughter in April 2020.

"When I came onto the scene I was secretly married and I was secretly pregnant," Turner-Smith shared with Bustle in December 2022. "And that was a story for people. I think a lot of it was because I was married to a white person. And I was married to a white person who has been in the public eye for decades and you know, has been someone that the tabloids like to talk about."

In February 2024, she still had positive things to say after their separation, telling The Sunday Times, "Sometimes things we really want to work just don't end up working. And that's OK. The most important thing is that you choose what's healthiest for you and your family and definitely your children."

Since Jackson's divorce, the Dr. Death actor was spotted with actress Lupita Nyong'o, including on a romantic vacation to Mexico in early 2024. However, by October 2024, Nyong'o confirmed she was single to Harper's Bazaar UK.
