DAWSON'S Creek star James Van Der Beek has revealed he is selling autographed merchandise to help the 'financial burden of cancer'.
James Van Der Beek rose to fame as Dawson Leery in Dawson's Creek, which ran for six seasons from 1998 until 2003.
Outside of his main TV character lead, James also starred in movies including 90s American football feature Varsity Blues, which saw him play Jonathan 'Mox' Moxon.
Now after revealing he has stage 3 colorectal cancer, the star is selling merchandise to help fund his cancer treatment and the financial impact of fighting the illness.
Writing on Instagram, a smiling James showed off a blue football jersey from 90s film Varsity Blues.
He told fans in the post: "Merch drop! Excited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of #VarsityBlues with a limited edition #4 Moxon jersey—each one personally autographed by me.
