Deal or No Deal Island’s Maria-Grace Cook Now Works for TV Rival Dr. Will Kirby

During the most recent episode of Season 2 of Deal or No Deal Island, legendary Big Brother player Dr. Will Kirby played against the Banker. In fact, he threw the challenge to make sure that he could face the Banker at The Temple. However, Seychelle Cordero and Alexis Lete persuaded Dr. Will to target Maria-Grace Cook (M.G.) instead of Courtney Kim. The Family alliance was furious, as was M.G. I guess time heals all wounds because M.G. had a surprising announcement.

After her shock elimination, M.G. unloaded on Dr. Will. “Will is just garbage as a person,” M.G. stated. “It’s not just a character or an act, he truly is not a good person. There’s still nine other contestants in the game and I think all of them deserve it except Will.” Fair enough.

However, now the former firefighter is working with the good doctor. “I got an email, and he was like, ‘If you want a job, I’ll give you a job and you’ll make money and you could move to LA.’ So I did,” M.G. told US Weekly, “and I just ended up watching all the episodes with him, including last night.” I didn’t have this development on my Deal or No Deal Island bingo card. WOW.

Plus, M.G. allegedly discussed this possibility off-camera with Will during the show. “We had multiple conversations in the game, but [being] friends isn’t for reality TV. But he tells me that he has a really good company, he could set me up with a job because I was trying to transition out of the fire department EMS,” M.G. stated. “I never thought that was true.” She added, “Dr. Will as Dr. Will, he is a garbage person.” However, he wasn’t the same person “outside in the real world.”

So, who else has M.G. stayed in touch with? She did see Storm Wilson, but the two aren’t romantically involved. “We had a lot of real-world talks when he came to LA and I don’t plan on visiting Austin anytime soon, but we do still stay in touch but as friends,” she stated.

She also texted her island brother in the Family alliance, Dickson Wong. She called him a “dumbass” after he eliminated Storm. “We stay in touch. I texted him and was like, ‘I love you, Dickson, I’m sorry,’ but in that moment he kind of deserved it,” M.G. said.

Deal or No Deal Island continues on Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
