First time Strictly winner Dianne Buswell was surprised with an extravagant display at the home she shares with Joe Sugg following her victory on the weekend.
Saturday night's final of the BBC show saw comedian Chris McCausland, 47, and his dance partner Dianne, 35, named the winners of the latest series of Strictly. The pair then joined their co-stars at an afterparty held in London.
Upon her return home, Dianne was surprised by a display organised by her former dance partner Joe, 33, whom she's been in a relationship with since 2018. Content creator Joe initially shared photos of the decorations on Instagram before showing Dianne's reaction a new vlog on YouTube.
The display featured large silver balloons, including some designed to look like disco balls, that had been placed at both the top and the bottom of the staircase. They complimented lights that had been attached to the banister.
A banner that read "2024 winner" had been put up in between the two sets of stairs in the entrance space inside the couple's too. Whilst a number of gold and white balloons were scattered on the floor in the hallway beneath it.

Her partner explained that he had help from some pals, including with the banner itself. Dianne, who is celebrating her first win at Strictly, continued: "Aww. That's so cool!" As she looked around it, Joe declared: "2024 winner."
Dianne went on to question what would have happened if she hadn't won with Chris that evening, saying: "That is so cool. I can't ... so what if I didn't win?" Joe laughed: "Yeah, it would have been really awkward if you didn't win."
He however assured his partner that he was confident that she would be named the winner of the new series. Joe told her: "But we knew you would." He further commented in the vlog: "We had faith that you were the winner."

BBC/Guy Levy)Joe had already given fans a glimpse of the display in a post on Instagram, in which he paid tribute to Dianne. He wrote on Sunday: "There are no words to describe how proud I am of you both [Dianne and Chris]. Last night was an absolute movie. You made us laugh, you made us cry and you proved to the world that you are good enough and you can achieve anything the doubters say you can't and more.
Chris I thank you for making this year so special for Dianne and I could not be happier that you're the partner she finally lifted the glitterball with. Dot, it's been a long winding, road full of ups and downs for 7 years but you have shown pure determination & dedication and you finally got there in the best way possible and everyone has been able to see how amazing you are and what an incredible teacher you are this year. You are both inspirations and have the nations hearts on behalf of everyone, thank you."
Dianne responded: "Thank you my angel for always supporting me and being by my side. I love you."
