Dick Van Dyke has made a rare appearance on social media.
The Mary Poppins star shared a video endorsing Kamala Harris ahead of the US election on November 6.
This is the first time Van Dyke, 98, has been seen since he cancelled a scheduled appearance at the Emmys earlier this year.
"Hi, I'm Dick Van Dyke," he begins.

"You may remember I used to sing and dance and fall down a lot, actually.
"50 years ago, May 31st, 1964, I was on the podium with Dr. Martin Luther King, who was addressing some 60,000 people in the Colosseum in LA. And I was there to read a message written by Rod Serling, the guy who wrote Twilight Zone."
The actor said he was thinking about the speech ahead of the US election and concluded it "means as much today, if not more, than it did then."

He then reads the speech.
"Hatred is not the norm. Prejudice is not the norm. Suspicion, dislike, jealousy [and] scapegoating, none of those are the transcendent facet of the human personality. They're diseases. They are the cancers of the soul," it begins.

"They are the infectious and contagious viruses that have been bleeding humanity for years. And because they have been, and because they are, is it necessary that they shall be? I think not."
With a note of optimism, Van Dyke continued: "If there is one voice left to say 'welcome' to a stranger, if there is one hand outstretched to say 'enter and share,' if there's one mind remaining to think a thought of warmth and friendship, then there's a future in which we will find more than one hand, more than one person, more than one mind, dedicated to the cause of man's equality.

"To those who tell us the inequality of the human animal is a necessary evil, we must respond by simply saying that first, it is evil, but it is not necessary."
Van Dyke concluded his video by looking back on how things have changed over the decades.
"1964. A lot has happened, not so much as Martin Luther dreamed of – but it is a start," he said.
He ended the video by saying, "Thank you, God bless."

Van Dyke has cancelled two recent public appearances, sparking concerns for his health.
He pulled out of an appearance at the FanX Salt Lake City Comic Convention in Utah in September, the same month he pulled out of presenting an award at the Emmys.
"We are sorry to announce that Dick Van Dyke is not able to travel to FanX," the organisation's Facebook page announced.
"He expresses his gratitude to all of those who continue to support him but, at almost 99 years of age, traveling and interacting with thousands of people is more than he is able to do at this time."
Van Dyke appeared to be in good health in the video, released ahead of the US election, and wore reading glasses to read the speech.
The movie legend has previously spoken of his battle with alcohol. He also revealed he quit smoking and exercises three times a week, at the urging of his wife Arlene Silver.
"My wife, god bless her, makes sure I go to the gym three days a week and do a full workout," the actor told CBS News.
Van Dyke and Silver married in 2012.
