Did Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes bury their differences? Insider reveals if they will attend Super Bowl LIX together

Taylor Swift is so nervous about the upcoming Super Bowl that she has even forgiven Brittany Mahomes. The pop star has already moved past the disagreement she had with Mahomes at the end of last year and will be delighted to have her by her side in the box at the New Orleans Superdome this Sunday to support the Kansas City Chiefs.

Taylor, girlfriend of tight end Travis Kelce, and Brittany, wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, had a public falling out at the end of 2024 due to their respective political positions.

Swift supported Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, while Mahomes made public her preference for the Republican Party. However, that all seems to be in the past, as both WAGs (wives and girlfriends) were seen very close during the celebration of the Chiefs' victory in the AFC Championship Game.

Furthermore, a source close to Swift revealed to "Life & Style" that the singer is relieved to have Mahomes with her during the Super Bowl, given the tension that the NFL championship game represents.

"Taylor's not nearly as wide-eyed about the whole thing as she was last year," explained the source, "but she's still relieved to have Brittany to experience all of this with." After all, Mahomes has attended four Super Bowls in the last five years and is already used to the nerves that the big NFL game represents.

According to the insider, Swift and Mahomes are preparing for the game almost as intensely as their partners. Brittany and Taylor "know all eyes are going to be on them, so they're prepping for this like it's some sort of red carpet event."

The source explained that both celebrities have dressmakers and stylists working overtime to design their looks for Sunday. "The pressure to look perfect on camera is very high," the source revealed.

A party for the WAGs

In addition to their appearance, Swift and Mahomes are also taking care of their public relations. "They also want to throw a little get-together for the WAGs ahead of the game, so they can celebrate together and bond more," the insider revealed.

"Taylor is basically the unofficial queen of the group and Brittany is her right hand, so it makes sense that they'd be the ones arranging the pregame social calendar for the WAGs," the source explained.

So, while the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles prepare for Super Bowl LIX, the WAG squad has its own preparations and goals for Sunday's game, to support their husbands and boyfriends with all the strength of their image.
