The family of Sean "Diddy" Combs has been shaken by the patriarch's incarceration. Combs, the father of seven children by four different women, is set to stand trial in May 2025 after he was indicted on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. If the hip-hop mogul is convicted, he faces significant time in prison and the final dissolution of his media empire.
While fans and gossip readers have been kept up-to-date on a near-daily basis as to Diddy's activities inside Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, most are unaware of how Combs' incarceration is really impacting his loved ones -- including his twin daughters, D'Lila and Jessie.
A "haunting" tribute to Kim Porter
D'Lila and Jessie Combs are the 17-year-old identical twin daughters of Sean Combs and Kim Porter. Friday marked the sixth anniversary of Porter's shocking death in Los Angeles at age 47, due to complications from lobar pneumonia.
D'Lila and Jessie on Friday paid an emotional Instagram tribute to their mother, an accomplished model and actress, who would turn 54 years old on Dec. 15.
In the post, the twins said that they think about their mother "every single second of the day" and they amount that they miss her cannot be accurately conveyed in words. D'Lila and Jessie concluded the caption by wishing that their mom was with them now during a trying time in the Combs family, and that they still love her, knowing her spirit "will be around forever".
The twins, both high school cheerleaders, are part of a united front that the Combs family is trying to project while Diddy remains behind bars in New York City. They are looking at the prospect of "losing" both parents in under a decade, as the charges that their father is facing are very serious. It is a position that no teenager wants to be in, and at day's end, the twins may have only each other to lean on.
