Diddy’s family has shared a new statement in support of their father, who remains in custody in New York in connection with a widely covered trafficking and racketeering case.

Tuesday, the statement in question—attributed to Quincy Brown, Justin Combs, Christian “King” Combs, Chance Combs, Jessie Combs, and D’Lila Combs—was shared to Instagram alongside a family photo. According to sources, the statement was made and shared voluntarily.

“The past month has devastated our family,” it reads. “Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. We miss you and love you, Dad.”

In September, an unsealed indictment revealed charges against Diddy of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for purposes of prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty. Attorney Marc Agnifilo, meanwhile, has said that his client is “an innocent man with nothing to hide.”

Diddy has also faced a wave of lawsuits in recent months in which he’s accused of sexual assault. Just last week, Diddy’s attorneys issued a statement in response to a then-current batch of new filings, asserting that “the truth will prevail” in court.

As for the latest in Diddy's federal case, it was recently reported that his attorneys were arguing to a New York judge that a “pervasive ripple effect” in the case was harming their shot at a “fair trial.” Citing this, attorneys called for anonymous accusers to be identified, a move they argue will allow for a proper defense to be mounted.
