Urgent recalls have been issued over the last couple of weeks which involve various food items.

The recalls were issued by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) as well as the supermarkets themselves.

The supermarket chains have warned customers “do not eat” the affected items, asking them to return items to nearby stores.

The most recent one comes from Morrisons, who is recalling its Morrisons Crushed Garlic.

According to the supermarket, an ingredient has been omitted from the product that prevents microbiological growth and therefore presents a potential risk to consumers.
