Doireann Garrihy has shared a beautiful new photo from her wedding day to Mark Mehigan.

The presenter and podcaster married the comedian on Friday, which was followed by a lavish reception with friends and family at Kildare's K Club.

Doireann's management, Noel Kelly Management, were the first to share a glimpse of the beautiful couple on their special day. A photo from the church showed the Dancing with the Stars host looking radiant in a gorgeous strapless gown while Mark looked dapper in a classic tuxedo.

Now, Doireann has taken to social media to share another snap from the day.

The black and white photo sees the newlyweds pose outside their venue as they lovingly look at each other. "Just married," they captioned the post.

Showing the love, Doireann's sister Ailbhe commented: "The most perfect day", while Aoibhin gushed: "Magical magical".

Rosanna Davison wrote: "Absolutely beautiful, Congratulations!"

"A photo for the ages! Congratulations… so beautiful," Newstalk's Ciara Kelly added.

Doireann and Mark got engaged last November, a year after going public with their romance.

The comedian got down on bended knee in Dublin's Phoenix Park, a place which holds sentimental value for the Dancing with the Stars host.

"It's right beside my family home in Castleknock, it's where I learned to cycle and it was my sanctuary during lockdown. It holds a special place in my heart," Doireann previously told The Sunday Times.

"Nothing can prepare you for just how lovely people are when you get engaged. Mark is amazing. From the outside looking in it probably seems quite fast, but I really feel like I've known him forever."
