The Miami Dolphins may have a wide receiver problem when they face the Cleveland Browns this Sunday. WR Cedric Tillman has already been officially ruled out and now NFL Insider Tom Pelissero says that his fellow receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are both questionable due to injuries.
This will leave a huge hole in Miami's offense in Week 17, but what effect it could have against the 3-12 Browns will have to be seen.
More News: Dolphins Reveal WR Tyreek Hill Has Second Injury
The Dolphins recently revealed that Hill, who has been playing through a wrist injury all season, is also battling an undisclosed ankle injury.
According to WR coach Wes Welker, this ankle issue has been limiting Hill's practice time with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, as he has been unable to participate fully in drills. Hill was restricted in all three of the team's practices this week, with rest also playing a role in his limited participation.
After two stellar seasons with over 1,700 receiving yards, Hill's production has significantly dropped in 2024. With only two regular-season games left, he has accumulated 70 catches for 834 yards and six touchdowns, far off his previous pace. Despite that, if he is ruled out on Sunday, it will be a heavy loss for Miami.

Waddle continues to battle a knee injury sustained during the Dolphins' Week 15 loss to the Houston Texans, which forced him to exit early. He missed all practices in Week 16 and was sidelined for the victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
The good news is Waddle returned to the field on Thursday, participating in his first practice since the injury. Head coach Mike McDaniel expressed optimism about Waddle's potential availability for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, though he was limited in Thursday's session.
"I've learned over time to not forecast with him, just his pain tolerance, his competitiveness," McDaniel said of Waddle. "I've been talking to our head athletic trainer at length about making sure that we protect him from himself because he's one of those guys that will try to will himself to performance. So we'll see how the week progresses."
McDaniel previously stated that Waddle will likely carry a questionable designation into the game, with Friday's practice serving as a key evaluation point. Now, Waddle appears to be hanging in limbo before Sunday.
Although the Browns have not had an impressive season by anyone's standards, Miami may find itself in a difficult position if it goes into Sunday short three key WRs.
