Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill will play in today's match-up against the Arizona Cardinals, despite an injury that put him on the "questionable" list.
Hill was placed on the injury report Thursday as a limited participant due to a foot injury and did not practice on Friday. Head coach Mike McDaniel has been reportedly optimistic about the wide receiver's availability, and all signs seem to indicate he will be on the field today.
This is particularly good news for the Dolphins as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has also been sidelined since Week 2 when he received a concussion. The quarterback has suffered several concussions over the course of his career but apparently was greenlit by his doctors to return this week.

The Dolphins' offense has suffered in Tagovailoa's absence, which made the possibility of Hill being unable to play just as his quarterback returned a pretty big deal. Hill himself said of the QB, "When Tua is a part of this offense, can't nobody stop us, bro. We should score every day. That's the way I look at it. We've got too much talent."
He's got a point. Since being traded to the Dolphins in 2022 (from the Chiefs), Hill has been putting up record numbers and achieved a career-high of 1,799 receiving yards in the 2023 season.
Having both Tagovailoa and Hill back on the field will undoubtedly be a huge boost for the Dolphins against the Cardinals, though some are questioning the quarterback's readiness to return.
The player's former coach at the University of Alabama Nick Saban said, "I'm concerned because I want Tua to be safe and healthy and not have a football career that's gonna impact him down the road. Because I think organizationally, this is a medical decision and not an organizational decision. People will look at him and say, why are they letting him play? I think the doctors make that decision so it's a medical decision. For him, it becomes personal then..."

Fortunately for everyone involved, it appears that Hill's injury was much less severe. Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was also included on the injury report this week, but his quad issue didn't result in any injury designation. It seems the Dolphins' offense will be fully staffed for Week Eight.
