Now in marriage number three, President Donald Trump is known for his complicated love life - and it would seem that his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr could be following in his footsteps.
The 47-year-old, who often goes by the nickname Don Jr, was until last year engaged to former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, whose skills in media and politics proved to be an asset during Donald Snr's presidential campaigns.
Indeed, the 55-year-old news personality is so well regarded by POTUS, that, back in December, he appointed her as America’s Ambassador to Greece - mere hours after Don Jr was photographed walking hand in hand with Palm Beach socialite, Bettina Anderson.

Getty Images)Announcing this interestingly timed appointment on Truth Social, President Trump said: “For many years, Kimberly has been a close friend and ally. Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics along with her sharp intellect make her supremely qualified to represent the United States and safeguard its interests abroad.
“Kimberly is perfectly suited to foster strong bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our interests on issues ranging from defence cooperation to trade and economic innovation.”
As rumours swirled around him and Bettina, 38, Don Jr took to social media platform X to express his pride in Kimberly, who he became engaged to back in 2020. He wrote: “I am so proud of Kimberly. She loves America and she always has wanted to serve the country as an Ambassador. She will be an amazing leader for America First."
As previously reported by the Mirror, there had been no official split at this time, however, Don Jr had reportedly told members of his inner circle that he'd “moved on”. Things moved quickly from there however, and by January, it was clear that Don Jr's attentions had turned to Bettina who apparently hasn't yet won the approval of his famous family.

Getty Images)As reported by Mediaite, President Trump is rumoured to dislike Bettina, while his inner circle have expressed concerns about the banking dynasty heiress's reported love of partying and romancing rich men. Sources claim that President Trump himself “does not approve of his son’s association with Bettina". A friend of the family told the publication: “Bettina’s presence is seen as a liability rather than an asset.”
The younger Trump however seems quite enamoured and, throughout January, was spotted looking cosy with glamorous Bettina on various occasions - including events at which Kimberly was present. The Cut reports that Don Jr, Bettina and Kimberly all attended the same cryptocurrency ball, and were also snapped at a candlelight dinner at the National Building Museum.
Of course, there was one particularly important event in the Trump family calendar in January - and neither Bettina nor Kimberly were in attendance. Bettina appeared to be excitedly preparing for President Trump's swearing in ceremony - even showing off her "Inauguration glam look" on Insta, which saw her looking White House ready in a houndstooth Dolce and Gabbana outfit.

AFP via Getty Images)However, in what has been dubbed a "snub" by The Daily Beast, Bettina, who, like Kimberly, attended a number of pre-inauguration festivities, was not seated with the Trump family in the Capitol Rotunda as their patriach was sworn in as President of the United States.
Family friends reportedly advised Mediaite that insiders had recommended Bettina be kept away from the inauguration, as she is "not someone [Don Jr.] should be around", in their eyes at least. Bettina was also conspicuously absent from the inaguaral lunch, with Don Jr. instead seated with the likes of Apple CEO Tim Cook, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, and Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi.
She was however photographed leaving the Capitol alongside Don Jr. and his children, and was later spotted seated behind Tiffany Trump at the inaugural parade - suggesting she isn't being kept at a complete distance. Whether or not his family approve, it would appear things are getting serious between Don Jr and Bettina, who are “essentially living together".
At the time of inauguration, amid whispers about Bettina's awkward absence, a source told Page Six: “Don Jr. is essentially living with Bettina at her townhouse. His car is always there. Always.”
