Jedidiah Duggar and his wife, Katey Duggar, are new parents again!
On Thursday, January 9, the couple — who wed in April 2021 — took to Instagram to share that Katey gave birth to twin girls Elsie and Emma on Wednesday, January 8.
The husband and wife duo — also parents to son Truett, born in 2022, and daughter Nora, born in 2023 — posted an Instagram carousel with five photos featuring their new bundles of joy. Truett and Nora came to meet their new siblings in the hospital as one picture features Katey in her hospital bed holding a twin in each arm alongside Nora, who had her hand inside a Pringles container, and Truett, who sat on his dad's lap. There is also a solo shot of Jedidiah holding his new baby girls in his arms.
The pair captioned their joint post, "They're here!! 💕Introducing Elsie Kate and Emma Kate! Elsie was born on January 8, 2025, at 2:06 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and Emma followed at 2:13 p.m., weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounce. Both girls are healthy and beautiful!"
Fans took to the comment section to gush over the new babies.
"The names are beautiful! And the middle names, aww! Nora eating her snacks 😂❤️ congratulations! Hope your doing great mama!" one fan wrote.
"Congratulations! I love the shared middle name they are so beautiful 😍," someone commented.
"Oh my gosh...they couldn't be more perfect! Beautiful names. Congrats you guys 😍😍 , a third fan wrote.
The 19 Kids and Counting star's sister, Jill Duggar, commented, "Congratulations!!💗💗."
In a statement to People on Thursday, the couple said, "Both girls are healthy, and beautiful, and have completely captured our hearts." They expressed their gratitude for the new additions by telling the outlet, "We are so grateful to God for entrusting us with these precious girls. Our hearts are full, and we're thankful for the love and support we've received during this joyful time."
Other members of the Duggar family expecting babies in 2025 are Jinger Duggar with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, and Jedidiah's twin brother, Jeremiah Duggar, with his wife, Hannah Duggar.
