In the wake of their latest rift, Dwight Howard has offered to hash out his differences with Shaquille O’Neal by extending an invitation to his longtime nemesis to appear on his podcast.

On Tuesday (Jan. 7), Howard attempted to ease the tension between himself and O’Neal with a social media post expressing his unease with publicly feuding with another Black man.

The 39-year-old also voiced his willingness to sit down with the former NBA MVP to work through their respective issues with one another in a productive manner.

“I don’t want people to get entertained by two black man going back and forth over petty stuff,” Howard wrote in the post, which came in the wake of the pair’s explosive back and forth.

“I don’t want to bicker I just want to settle this like the two successful HOF black men we are! You the most dominant center of all time ! Come on to the podcast and let’s hash this out.”

Howard would later host a X Spaces, in which he claimed to have never had a personal issue with O’Neal, again calling for the four-time NBA champion to appear on his Above The Rim podcast.

The renowned big man seemingly took a jab at O’Neal in another social post later in the day, writing, “I won’t “Ever say your name again” said that 5 times,” a reference to O’Neal’s incessant clap backs, despite his vow to never mention Howard again.

Yet, he quickly retained his more diplomatic stance in another post, lamenting his desire for “peace all around the world.”

The bad blood between Howard and O’Neal bubbled over in the past few days, following Howard’s remarks regarding their decades-long beef during a recent podcast appearance.

Appearing on Ray Daniels The Gaud Show podcast, Howard spoke on potentially showing up to TNT Studios and challenging O’Neal to a fist fight to settle their feud once and for all.

This would lead O’Neal to respond with a series of posts, in which he announced that Howard is now “dead” to him while scoffing at the idea of throwing hands with the former NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
